Dr. Inderpreet Kaur is associated with Central Scientific Instruments Organization (CSIO), a Constituent Establishment of (CSIR), Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, Chandigarh as a Principal Scientist. She has 15 years of research experience in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology with core domain knowledge of Physics.
Dr. Inderpreet Kaur is also an Associate Professor with the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR). She received her PhD in Theoretical and Experimental studies on charge transfer in DNA. She has published over 70 papers. She has 10 PhD's to her credit and has been a guide to more than 5 students in their doctoral program.
She has supervised over 100 B.Tech and M.Tech projects and has been instrumental in project formulation and execution of major projects. Her current research interests include biosensing of markers for cardiac damages, theoretical physics, nanofluids based smart cooling systems, flexible electronics and nanoelectronic devices.
She conducts outreach programs for young minds in schools in the form of science clubs and summer workshops under the name Meta School. She runs an NGO, Jigyasa, for scientific temperament development in school students.
