Course Summary

Advanced DevOps Engineering caters to the advanced areas of DevOps. In this course, students will understand how to architect a full stack DevOps solution using various types of declarative operations and data-oriented automation. The operations automation is primarily introduced as a programming capability. This capability is then extended to different non-functional requirements like security, reliability, scalability, maintainability, and intelligence.

The course introduces students to the frontiers of DevOps innovation. This course requires students to go through the Industry Honour Certification (IHC) offering on Basic DevOps Engineering as a prerequisite.

The current global market size of DevSecOps, AIOps and SRE is more than $20 billion and the Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) is predicted at 34%. AIOps, DevSecOps, SRE Engineer and Chaos Engineering professionals are amongst the top and the highest paying IT jobs across the globe.

Hands-On

In this advanced-level course, students will get hands-on practice of configuring Docker images and containers, and deploying fully-fledged Kubernetes Engine applications. This course will teach students the practical skills needed for integrating container orchestration into their own workflow to include continuous deployments with scalability, and managing containers to accomplish multiple heterogeneous deployments, database deployments, and continuous monitoring.
