Course Summary

Cloud Computing is a model for convenient, on-demand network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources. Currently, every organisation from various sectors is aiming to make its products cloud-enabled. Cloud enables any global enterprise to deliver its services in a more user-friendly manner. This course introduces students to different application development in cloud with solutions in core system level or in application level. It will cover a wide range of Cloud System Design and Development topics starting with their fundamentals.

We observe reinvention across almost every industry due to cloud. This is not surprising as the evidence suggests that cloud adoption boosts an organisation’s ability to innovate, re-imagine customer experiences and make high velocity decisions in an increasingly dynamic world. India is also becoming a home for Software as a Service (SaaS) businesses with the Indian SaaS ecosystem now being the third largest in the world and is expected to fulfil 11% of the global SaaS demand by 2025, as per a Chiratae-Zinnov Study.

The Cloud Development course covers critical aspects of Cloud Computing and will help students to stay updated on the latest cloud development industry trends and practices by accessing resources powered research and experience of teachers.
