Course Summary

According to a report by CISION PR Newswire, the cyber security market growth in India is anticipated to continue during the forecast period, FY2023 - FY2027, with a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 8.05% to achieve a market value of USD3543.37 million by FY2027.

The Advanced Cyber Security - An Application Approach course deals with Cyber Security from an information security management perspective. The course includes application security, secure software development life cycle and emphasises on the need for implementing security in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) phase. The course also covers IT strategy management, business continuity planning, planning defense mechanism against cyber-attacks, information security standards, information security policy management, access control management and the objectives of security control.

Hands-On

A virtual hands-on environment is integrated within the course.

Students will have to leverage this environment to complete the industry assignment as well as to complete Part B of the summative assessment.
