Course Summary

The rate of data generation has grown significantly in the past decade. This data can be effectively used to solve various data analytics problems with the proper use of data modeling and visualization techniques. With this objective in mind, the course deals with selected data modeling and data visualization techniques applying some commonly used tools.

According to a report from Business Wire, the global data visualization market is expected to display a positive market trend in the forecast period from 2019 to 2027, exhibiting a growth rate of 9%. Besides, the rising demand for data visualization tools in the BFSI sector presents further opportunities for market growth. Asia-Pacific is anticipated to be the fastest growing region in the global market during this forecast period.

The Data Modeling and Visualization course provides the basic framework for performing data analysis using some fundamental data modeling and data visualization techniques. The course also introduces R as a programming language, where students learn to deal with data analysis problems in a structured framework. Moreover, they will gain experience on framing a basic comprehensive solution to a data analysis problem.
