I feel really glad and privileged to be a part of the pilot batch of TCS iON Industry Honour Certification - Item Writing in English Reading Comprehension course. The course aims at the development of skills related to item writing in English to test the reading comprehension of the learners. It is in line with the National Education Policy (2020) mandate which will be implemented by 2022. The 8 weeks course includes digital lectures, digital course and assignments to hone our knowledge and skills. We had several interactive sessions with the trainers every week. The online classes helped us to clear our doubts and delve deeper into the topics. The sessions were engaging and at the same time thought-provoking. We had several brainstorming sessions with fellow participants from different universities across the country under the guidance of our teachers. The reading materials were enriched with important information along with numerous examples, innovative activities and illustrations. We also had an access to the recorded live classes for our better understanding. We were also provided with reading materials in the discussion room by our educators. The entire team was extremely helpful, dedicated and cooperative. In other words, I really appreciate such wonderful teachers and coordinators for making an outstanding 2 months journey. I really hope the knowledge that I gained from the course will help me in future for my professional growth.

I've gone through the TCS iON Industry Honour Certification - Item Writing in English Reading Comprehension course. The course has enhanced my skills in writing items for English Reading Comprehension. Joining this course online was my first experience on learning any course on an online platform. At first, I wasn't sure that an online course could answer all my questions, but the team members of TCS iON really know their stuff. The digital videos, digital content and continuous interactions with the host were instrumental in making sure that I continued with the course and achieved my goals of becoming a master in developing the items in English Reading Comprehension.

Moreover, I always felt privileged while going through the course as everything was served before I asked for. Our host Mary Ma'am was highly humble, friendly and always ready to help us in everything starting from accessing the course, completing & submitting the assignments and above all completing the course in a successful way. The digital lectures of Debi Ma’am were really superb. She was so amicable and a pleasant personality that all her lectures were enjoyable and interacting. All her sessions were brainstorming, thought provoking and helped me to understand and apply the knowledge in item writing for English Reading Comprehension in a true sense. The digital content developed by Gupta Ma'am also ignited my mind not only about developing the items in reading comprehension but also understanding the reading test as a whole in 13 modules. The digital content was highly interactive, interesting and engaged me throughout the modules with the recorded audios and challenging tasks. Throughout the content I was always excited to know `what comes next' and could not stop myself in going through the content till the end. Additionally, all the team members working behind the screen to help us to get the easy access of the course are highly appreciable. All my queries in the Help Box were answered immediately. Thanks to the quick response of the team. Above all the given time for completing the course was very suitable and comfortable for me. Weekly, one digital lecture allowed me to complete the digital content at my own pace and helped me a lot in completing the course successfully. In addition to above, regular interaction and the feedback was taken from us by a senior TCS personnel to make this course suitable for us and made necessary modifications and arrangements which is highly commendable. A great Thanks to the whole team members of TCS iON group for all their efforts and service towards me for a successful completion of the course.

This course is highly recommended for teachers, researchers and even for the aspirants of GRE, TOFFEL, ACT, IELTS, CAT, SAT, CLAT, etc. as the course is a complete package for them to understand reading passage and the examples of test items constructed by the above organisations, comprehensively. As it is always said `we learn something in a best way when we try to teach it'; similarly, `the best way to prepare for writing an exam is to learn how to write the question paper for it'.

Indeed quite interesting, challenging, explicitly focused and valuable learning experiences. I felt that over the duration of the course, I've really improved my knowledge in Item Writing in English Reading Comprehension. The course gave me a good grounding in item writing and enhanced the item writing skills for my PhD data gathering tools. Constructive input from the mentors gave room to creative thinking and innovative ideas. The reading material provided was very interesting and with much details. The course opened up a whole new dimension and helped me gain a lot of insight. Assignments were really fantastic as it helped me think out of the box. It has been a great way to study because it allowed me to continue with my research work and do a self-paced study at the same time.
