Course Summary

Computer vision is a field of computer science that works on enabling computers to see, identify and process images, videos and more, in the same way that human vision does, and then provide appropriate output. It is like imparting human intelligence and instinct to a computer. It is closely linked with artificial intelligence as the computer must interpret what it sees, and then perform appropriate analysis or act accordingly.

According to a report by GlobeNewswire, the global machine vision market was valued at USD 9.9 billion in 2019 and is projected to reach USD 14.7 billion by 2025, growing at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 6.5% between 2020 and 2025. The major driving factors in the machine vision market are the increasing need for quality inspection and automation, growing demand and increasing adoption of vision-guided robotic systems and much more.

Vision Intelligence and Machine Learning is a course that provides insights into fundamental concepts and algorithms in computer vision and applications of machine learning in visual intelligence. This is a useful course for practitioners of computer vision applications in real-world scenarios.

Hands-On

A virtual hands-on environment is integrated within the course.
