About this Course
The objective of this short-term course is to create awareness on the open source process simulator "DWSIM" among prospective graduates and practising process engineers. The course will cover basic aspects of creating flow sheet in DWSIM and simulation of simple units such as Mixer, Heat Exchanger, Equilibrium Reactor, CSTR, Distillation Column.
The course will make use of the spoken tutorial on DWSIM, created and made available by IITB, under the FOSSEE project, NMEICT-MHRD initiative.
With the basic knowledge obtained during the course, the participants will be able to simulate the process using DWSIM.
