About this Course
"Sales and Distribution Management" is a highly critical function in manufacturing organisations as it is the only revenue generating (Profit-Centre) activity. 'Sales' and 'distribution' are considered as two inseparable functions of the same entity. Without sales there can be no distribution, and likewise without distribution the sales function is meaningless. Sales management plans the operational aspects and strategic details to achieve growth and profits, while the distribution management executes these plans. Distribution is an integral part of sales that ensures a product is within the reach of consumers.
