Mechatronics combines areas of engineering to allow the design, development and application of "Smart Devices" in an integrated, cross-disciplinary manner. Mechatronics is the science of intelligent systems where learners get to know about how to design, develop and test smart systems. Robotics is a good example of Mechatronics.
The subjects covered in this programme are – Electronics, Robotic Engineering, Computer-Aided Designing of Software, Modelling and Simulation of Mechatronics Systems, Sensors and Actuators, Mechanical Design, Circuits and Systems, Control Theory, Programming, Digital Signal Processing and Power Engineering. Hands-on projects emphasise designing Mechanical Systems using Embedded Real-Time Computing including projects in Robotics, Automation and Controls. This programme would help learners build their career as Robotic Engineers, Automation Engineer and R & D Engineer.
After completing the course, learners will acquire knowledge of the following:
