2. I have taken a psychometric test on another platform some time back. Do I need to take the TCS iON Compass - School assessment? +

Yes. There is a possibility of a change in your skills/attitude with passage of time. Taking the TCS iON Compass - School assessment will help you get an idea of your current skills/attitude.

3. How many assessments do I need to take? +

You need to appear for one assessment - 'TCS iON Compass - School'.

4. Will I get any result for future reference? +

Yes. Post assessment, a unique 'Insights Card' will be generated in your dashboard. To view the 'Insights Card', login into the product page, go to ‘My Dashboard’ -> ‘My Products’ -> 'TCS iON Compass - School' -> Click on ‘View Report’.

5. Can I subscribe for the assessment multiple times? +

No, you will get only one attempt to give the assessment.
While giving the assessment, if the assessment closes abruptly due to any reason (technical/network failure etc), then you can try launching the assessment again. If this does not help, then you need to connect with iON helpdesk.

6. Is there any negative marking? +

No. There is no negative marking as this is a psychometric test. There is no right or wrong answer.

7. What do the fitment scores on my 'Summary Report' and 'Detailed Report' indicate? +

The scores in your 'Insights Card' are calculated on the basis of attributes mapped to key profiles, namely Interest, Aptitude and Personality. These scores are segregated as High, Medium and Low potential areas in your 'Insights Card'. The 'Detailed Report' gives a detailed explanation of your profile on the basis of these potential areas, and highlights your overall fitment into appropriate career fields. The report also highlights your top recommended career fields and provides a comprehensive analysis of the same.

8. How do psychometric tests help school students? +

The tests are a set of physical and mental queries intended to get a better understanding of the individual's conditioning. The tests can reveal the suitability of the student for a particular field of study.

9. How does the counselling help? +

The one-on-one counselling focusses on the interpretation of your results, clarifies your doubts and helps you to narrow down on the appropriate career choices. The counselling revolves around identifying the right career fit, exploring opportunities and courses available for a particular domain, and creating a career plan. The structure and nature of the sessions may vary as per the requirement of the counselee.

10. What is the process for accessing the 'Detailed Report' and 'Detailed Report & Counselling'? +

Once you have taken the assessment and received your Insights Card, you can purchase the 'Detailed Report' as well as 'Detailed Report & Counselling'. The process is as follows:
- Sign Up/Login. Click ‘Subscribe Now'
- Go to My Dashboard' -> 'My Products' -> 'TCS iON Compass - School' -> Launch 'TCS iON Compass - School' Assessment. Complete the assessment.
- Go to My Dashboard' -> 'My Products' -> 'TCS iON Compass - School' -> Click 'View Report' to access your 'Insights Card'
