PhysicsWallah is an Indian online education technology startup based in Delhi, originally created as a YouTube channel in 2014 by Mr. Alakh Pandey. We are the first company aiming to build an affordable online education platform for each Indian student who dreams of IIT & AIIMS but is unable to afford the existing offline/online education providers.

We provide e-learning via our YouTube Channel and PhysicsWallah App/Website by providing lectures for JEE Mains and Advanced level, NEET and Board Exams.

Qualification & Eligibility:

• Graduated/Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and related fields.
• CGPA is not a barrier.
• Graduated/Pursuing Master’s in Engineering or related fields or Master’s in Business Administration is a plus point for candidature.

 

Working Experience:

• 0-1 Years of Work Experience(full time/part time/internship) in Product Management or Technical program/project in a Product based company.
• Freshers can also apply.
• Any kind of Start-up experience specially in Ed-Tech will be a bonus.

 

Skill Sets:

• Ability to think strategically, simplify and prioritise in an ambiguous environment.
• Good with numbers. Excellent problem-solving skills & learner with a steep learning curve.
• Sound knowledge of System Design & first principles thinking.

• Exposure to technical skills in Excel, SQL, Wireframing tools, Project Management tool(Jira or Trello), BI tools (any of Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) will be preferred.
• Outstanding & demonstrable leadership and organisational skills. Ability to structure projects/engagements for the team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop a deep understanding of our customers. Analyse current customer journeys to define friction points and enable seamless and effortless experiences
• Identifying the areas of improvement in the existing business processes is the key here.
• Set and Measure Success Metrics for the team to drive strategy and prioritisation of the product roadmap.
• Lead product development as a product owner within an agile scrum team working with a team of Engineers.
• Help monitor status of ongoing projects at all times and continuously assess risks and impacts to delivery schedules; lead cross-functional solutions to complicated problems.
• Dig deeper into complex data structures to understand customer context and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Write user stories, prioritise the product backlog, and work closely with engineers on the team.
• This is more related to writing PRDs and understanding the raw requirements given by Business and formulating them into requirement documents.
• Understanding the integration touch points and also identifying the dependencies with domain systems.
• Develop and manage a product roadmap and work with cross-functional teams (business, program managers, product, development, UX, analytics) to execute on the roadmap.
• Strong hold while working with the cross skilled team involving UX, engineer, content, training team).
• Work with Analytics partners to evaluate business cases, launch outcomes, and ongoing platform performance to help build best in class experiences.
• Evaluation of different business use cases from the requirements.
• Use rapid cycles and testing to iterate and learn how customers are using our products.
• Build trust and effective relationships with peers/cross-functional teams and provide leadership across the product, engineering and business teams.
